Fee Waiver Policy
Those in greatest need may be eligible for a fee reduction or waiver. Currently, if a client requests a fee reduction/waiver and his/her household gross monthly income is less than 125% of the U.S. poverty line (adjusted for family size), we will reduce or waive the fee. We will also waive the fee if your attorney is providing services pro bono.

In order to be reviewed for the fee waiver, you must submit the following:

  1. Proof of income for all household members (paystubs, letter of Social Security benefits, bank statement showing income deposit, would all count as proof of income).

  2. Number of individuals in the household.

  3. A brief explanation of why you need the fee waiver.

  4. If your waiver request is based on pro bono attorney services, you need to provide us with a letter from your attorney explaining why you are not being charged for his/her services.

  5. An email address, phone number or mailing address so we can contact you regarding our decision on your fee waiver application.

Download our Fee Waiver Form to compile the information.

You may submit these materials through any of the following:

  1. By email (send proof of income or pro bono confirmation as scanned attachments), to ccoa@ccoacares.com

  2. By mail (do not send original documents, as we will not be able to return them) . Mail them to:
    CCOA
    P.O. Box 10290
    Fayetteville AR 72703

  3. Drop them off at one of our offices. Again, make photocopies of income statements, as we will not be able to return originals.

We will process your fee waiver application within two business days of receiving it, and we will notify you of our decision once it is made.
