Fee Waiver Policy Those in greatest need may be eligible for a fee reduction or waiver. Currently, if a client requests a fee reduction/waiver and his/her household gross monthly income is less than 125% of the U.S. poverty line (adjusted for family size), we will reduce or waive the fee. We will also waive the fee if your attorney is providing services pro bono. In order to be reviewed for the fee waiver, you must submit the following: Proof of income for all household members (paystubs, letter of Social Security benefits, bank statement showing income deposit, would all count as proof of income). Number of individuals in the household. A brief explanation of why you need the fee waiver. If your waiver request is based on pro bono attorney services, you need to provide us with a letter from your attorney explaining why you are not being charged for his/her services.
